Medical Checkup
We run morning and afternoon clinics. We offer regular and routine medical check-
Complete Physical:
We have dedicated appointment slots for complete physical examination. These appointments are double routine appointments. If you feel you need one of these assessments, then please phone in for appointment. Our online appointment system will only give you single appointment.
Our complete physical examination is where we offer health screening. Screening tests may help find diseases or conditions early when they are easier to treat. These are some of the conditions that we commonly screen for:
- Breast cancer
- Cervical cancer (women)
- Prostate cancer (men)
- Colorectal cancer
- Diabetes
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol
Frequency of screening is not the same for everyone. How often a person needs screening depends on several factors, like age, general health, and findings from previous assessment.
As part of the complete physical, we offer Pap smear. In line with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists we will recommend that women have their first Pap smear by age 21 and subsequent Pap smears should be done every 2 years up to the age of 30 years when re-screening could be done every 3 years.
Medical Records:
We use Accuro clinical software for patient’s electronic medical record (EMR). We are a paper-free clinic. Following consultation with the doctor, your prescription will be generated via Accuro and electronically faxed to the pharmacist of your choice. Paper prescription is still available if you prefer.
Prescription Refills:
For some of our patients, we would like to see them at least 3 monthly to monitor their progress but most patients will be seen less frequently. For these patients, we are happy to deal directly with your pharmacist for prescription renewals.
